Thanks to those who sent in their questions. We had two excellent questions we addressed in this show:
1. Who is your favorite sports analyst? By sport? By media?
2. If you had the influence and could eliminate one sport event from the Winter Olympics, which would it be?

Good show guys.
I wanted to throw this out for discusion about what makes a good sports town. I think it breaks down how long they have been active in the sport. When you look at the east coast where most of these sports started you see the longer traditions that create what you are refering to good sports town.
Newer cities with less traditions have to work on creating that. That traction is hard to create. Even Dallas is considered a fair weather town. The true fan base here is still growing. so it give us another 20 years and it may be different.
That’s a consideration I’d not even thought of!
The East Coast most certainly has the more rabid & the more loyal fanbase spread out amongst pretty much all sports. I’d put the fanbase of the Columbus Crew up against the fanbase of the Los Angeles Galaxy any day!
Super thought, PG1C!
