A bit of research yielded the map of what games are shown where.
http://the506.com/sports/?p=706
Now tell me that the NFL decided all on it’s own that the ONLY place in the state of Texas that could not see the Texans game was the DFW area.
Jerry Jones uses his power over the NFL and the local area to ensure that the Texans are kept off the airwaves as much as possible.

I think that PGBryan is more right than wrong on this one, PGT. While I understand that you have a legitimate gripe, especially after considering the map you linked to, I do think you have blinders on when it comes to Houston v Dallas. I also think that you are giving Jerry Jones a bit too much credit.
Think about it.
For years and years, Dallas was “America’s Team” and they are consistently listed in the most valuable sports franchises list. If you owned or operated one of the most successful brands out there (the NFL), would you not ALWAYS want the most recognizable team (Cowboys) over the upstart (Texans)?
I face the same issue and have for the 16 years the EPL has been televised here. Manchester United & Liverpool will always be chosen for air time long before my beloved Arsenal. It has nothing to do with Malcolm Glazer’s (or Tom Hicks in Liverpool’s case) media prowess or his ability to manipulate the league; it has everything to do with the brand recognition and the adverstising dollars that can be made from selling space/time while ManU is playing. Like it or not, ManU is more recognizable than Arsenal just as the Cowboys are more recognizable than Houston.
This is just opinion, and I have no facts to back up whether Jerry Jones is, in fact, manipulating the media and the NFL or not.
